This package will put you into the richest salmon fishing grounds found anywhere in BC, the bountiful waters of Cartwright Sound on west coast of Haida Gwaii. You’ll fish aboard 30′ cabined top of the line Kingfisher boats for hard fighting chinook (king) salmon in the 15-40 pound class. You also fish for coho (silver) salmon and there’s plenty of excellent bottom and halibut fishing in the area.
The lodge operates two of the 30′ boats, so depending on your group size there will only be 2-4 people on board, and boats are private. Neil and his guides are well experienced and focused on maximizing every hour of the day. At the end of your trip fish can be brought home or sent for processing. All fish are professionally cut, vacuum packed and flash frozen for you, at no extra charge.

A package that has it all, great fishing and a spectacularly located beachfront lodge location. You’ll fly from Vancouver to Sandspit, where you’ll be picked up for the short drive to the lodge. The lodge overlooks Hecate Strait and there are no neighbors for miles in either direction with plenty of beach to explore. Six spacious rooms can accommodate up to eight guests and groups of six or more can enjoy the entire lodge to themselves.
