Summer months will find you fishing the glass calm waters within short distance of the boat moorage in Powell River. No long runs here, this protected area of BC’s Sunshine Coast is unmatched anywhere else in BC. Chinook Salmon in the 10-25 pound range and feisty Coho to 12 pounds migrate through our waters and hang around to feed on the abundant herring stocks our fishing grounds offer. As the local Powell River salmon fishery moves into the Wintering months Powell River Sportfishing still offers charters, no slowing down and as we roll into November, winter fishing season sets up. Feeder Chinook up to 15 lbs can be found in good numbers through the winter months on the Sunshine Coast, with consistent fishing all the way into April. This can be fast paced fishing at times with lots of reeling to keep your fingers warm during a cold day!

Enjoy a comfortable day aboard our fully equipped 21 foot sport fishing boat. We’re moored at the Beach Gardens Resort & Marina, located right in Powell River. We are Transport Canada Approved and fully insured. You’ll be fishing with top of the line meticulously maintained gear to make your fishing experience comfortable and enjoyable.
Our boat has a capacity of up to three (3) people, and we offer both half-day and full-day fishing charters. Half day charters are perfect for fishing locally but full-day charters give us the ability to run a little further and explore some of the other fishing grounds of the Sunshine Coast. Regardless of your experience level, our pro guide team, will ensure you have a safe and fun day fishing in Powell River.
