The Squamish Valley is located about an hour north of Vancouver and is home to a variety of free-flowing rivers that have large salmon returns in the Fall months. We’ll pick you up in Vancouver and have you fishing these wild coastal systems for coho and chum salmon. All transportation, guiding, and accommodations are included in these easy to enjoy packages, we use both Howe Sound Inn & Sunwolf Cabins for accommodations in Squamish, both minutes from the local rivers.
  • Package is best suited to fly fishing anglers looking for a wilderness fishing experience in British Columbia.

Fall salmon fishing on the Squamish River picks up in mid September as the first targetable numbers of fish enter the river system. On odd years (2015, 2017, 2019, etc.) we do have a run of Pink salmon that show up in mid August.  If you’re interested in fishing for chum and coho salmon then you’ll want to plan your trip for late September through until late November. There is also the opportunity to target trout, there are some beautiful rainbows and big bull trout in these waters.  Our Fall fishing packages on the Squamish mix walk-n-wade fishing and using our framed rafts to do drifts, all depending on conditions. We focus on fishing the sections of river closest to the ocean, targeting clean chrome fish as they come off the saltwater. Chum salmon can be in the 10-20 pound range, when they climb on to the fly their power becomes evident quite quickly!  We recommend the Squamish Fall Salmon Package to people looking for a true wilderness experience on the beautiful coastal rivers of southern British Columbia. We build our packages for flexibility, so please contact us for a detailed quote and include your group size and how many days of fishing and nights accommodation you’d like.
Located about 90 minutes east of Vancouver is the Harrison River which boasts some of the finest river salmon fishing in southwest British Columbia. These are fishing and accommodation packages suited for either conventional gear anglers or fly fishing anglers who are looking for a BC fishing experience packed with action.  Transportation services from Vancouver or Vancouver International Airport easily organized.
  • Great package for conventional gear anglers who want to target big chinooks, chums & cohos.
  • Stay in Chilliwack BC, minutes from the river and fish by jetboat with our crew of pro guides.
The main draw on the Harrison River is the enormous return of Chinook (king) salmon that the river sees every year.  Chinook salmon can be target from July through late September and range in size from 10 to 40+pounds! Since we are a short distance from the ocean, these chinook are in mint condition, bright and bold. There are also large runs of chum and coho salmon on the Harrison River, prime time for these fish is late September through late November. On your package you’ll be staying in the Coast Hotel Chilliwack, a short distance to the Fraser & Harrison rivers. Our guide will pick you up each morning with the jetboat in tow and you’ll put in on different sections of river. This is a great package for conventional gear anglers as well as fly anglers. If you’d like to combine your salmon fishing package with a day or two of sturgeon fishing just let us know, that can easily be accommodated at no extra charge.

“Just finished fishing for chum and silver salmon with Paul and Yos on the Squamish River for the past four days. Both are excellent guides who I’d 100% recommend fishing with if you are visiting British Columbia.”

“Yos and his team of guides treated us like gold. We had two epic days on the river, and caught a ton of fish. The Chromer team runs a first class outfit with super experienced and knowledgeable guides, and excellent communication every step of the way; from booking, leading up to the event, and during. I can honestly say it was the most positive fishing experience in my life, and our entire group of newbies are hooked for life on spey casting!”

“The perfect trip, couldn’t have asked for better guides or fishing, thank you!”
